Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-01

1. Who we are

Aeroboard Log (the “Service”) is operated by FN Aviation GmbH, Austria. Contact: info@flynoble.at.

2. What this product is — and isn't

Aeroboard Log is a personal pilot logbook tool. It lets you record flights, track career hours, generate authority-formatted PDF logbooks, and review your own data.

It is not an air traffic management tool, an EFB, an aircraft performance calculator, or a flight planning system. Do not rely on Aeroboard Log for any operational, safety-critical, or regulatory-filing purpose. You are responsible for cross-checking every value before submitting any official paperwork or making any operational decision.

3. Account & eligibility

You need a valid email or Apple ID to sign in. You are responsible for keeping access to that identity secure. One account per person — no shared logins. Aeroboard Log is for licensed and student pilots aged 16 or older.

4. Your data is yours

Every flight, photo, and personal detail you enter stays yours. You can export it as CSV or PDF at any time from the Export hub. You delete your account yourself in the iOS app under Profile, then Account, then “Delete account”: your data is removed immediately, and encrypted backups that still contain it are rotated out within 30 days. You can also ask us at info@flynoble.at and we do it within one month. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription: Apple bills it, so cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings.

See the Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect and where it lives.

5. Pricing, subscriptions & refunds

Aeroboard Log has a free tier and a paid plan, Aeroboard Pro. We give existing users at least 30 days' notice before any pricing change, and your existing logbook data stays readable and exportable even if you do not continue on a paid plan.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store — your contract for the purchase is with Apple, not with us. The price, billing period and automatic renewal are shown in Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm, and again in the app. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; you manage or cancel them in your Apple ID subscription settings. Payment, invoices and refunds run through Apple — request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers): because the purchase contract is with Apple, the statutory withdrawal and refund rules of that contract apply, and Apple operates the process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory warranty rights towards us for the Service itself remain unaffected.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the apps.
  • Upload data you do not have the right to use (e.g. another pilot's logbook).
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate any person.
  • Attempt to disrupt or overload the infrastructure (rate-limited APIs, scraping, etc.).

7. AI-generated content

Some features (cover letters, the Copilot chat, document extraction) use AI models from third parties to generate or interpret text. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Always review AI-generated content before relying on it. The reviewed output is yours; the AI provider may use the input for service operation per their own terms.

Copilot is decision-support only, not a certified compliance tool. The Copilot may compute Flight Duty Period (FDP), minimum rest, currency, or Flight Time Limitation (FTL) figures from your logbook data and present them with regulatory citations (e.g. AMC1 ORO.FTL.205(b)(2) Table 2, ORO.FTL.235, Part-FCL.060). These figures are reference values — they are NOT a compliance certificate within the meaning of Part-ORO or the operator's Operations Manual Part A (OM-A). The pilot in command remains the sole responsible commander for every decision relating to crew duty, discretion, or release for flight. Before any operational decision you must:

  • Cross-check Copilot figures against your operator's OM-A and crewing system.
  • Treat Commander's Discretion (ORO.FTL.205(e)) as an in-flight decision for unforeseen circumstances only — never as a planning extension suggested by the app.
  • Note that the calculator does NOT model augmented crew (Class 1/2/3 rest facility), split duty, standby modifiers, disruptive schedules, acclimatisation state across timezone crossings, or operator-specific reductions. Where any of these apply, the Copilot answer is incomplete by design.

FN Aviation GmbH is not liable for any operational consequence, insurance denial, safety report, regulatory finding, or other adverse outcome arising from reliance on Copilot output, to the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law (subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights of EU residents).

8. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law, FN Aviation GmbH is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, missed flight currency, or regulatory consequences.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for defects under the Produkthaftungsgesetz, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited under mandatory Austrian consumer-protection law (in particular §6 KSchG). If any clause in these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining clauses stay in force.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by signing out and requesting deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — we will notify the email on file before doing so, except in cases of severe abuse.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — significant changes will be announced via the email on file and the “Last updated” date will move. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Austria, with venue at the competent courts of the city where FN Aviation GmbH is registered. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of EU residents are not affected by this clause.
